The Vex Pro Touring Double Bass Pedal features a fully adjustable power cam system which speeds up the beater the closer it gets to impact to the drum head. This is one of the main components of why the Pro Touring Series pedals are so fast and have a gravity defying feel. Also, since it is adjustable, you can freely adjust how close or far you want the beater to be from the drum head. This is a Vex exclusive feature.
